Big Bend Paralegal, a chapter of the Paralegal Association of Florida, Inc., is based in Tallahassee, Florida, our State's capital city, and serves six north Florida counties, Leon, Gadsden, Liberty, Wakulla, Jefferson and Franklin. Luncheon meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month. Non-members and prospective members are encouraged to attend. (Further information on meetings can be found on the 'Events' page of this web site.) Speakers from various practice areas offer their knowledge and insight at each of these meetings, as well as in one-day seminars offered by the Chapter. Chapter members are provided a monthly newsletter, Headnotes, which provides interesting and informative articles. Non-members may subscribe to Headnotes for $10/year.

2015 Spring Seminar
The BBC 2015 Spring Seminar will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at the Staybridge Suites in Tallahassee, Florida.
The theme is "Spring Training for the Paralegal" and topics include "Out of Left Field-Family Law" "Rookies vs. Allstars-Old School Trial Prep meets Techno Trial" and "Foul Ball-Ethics, Dealing with a Curve Ball."
The Chapter is fortunate to assist Tallahassee Community College (TCC) and Keiser University (Keiser) with its legal assisting and paralegal studies programs. Students participating in the TCC legal assisting program and Keiser’s paralegal studies program are eligible for the yearly scholarship(s) offered by the BBC.
